Act of Contrition

My God, I am sorry for my sins
with all my heart.
In choosing to do wrong
and failing to do good
I have sinned against you
whom I should love above all things.
I firmly intend, with your help,
to do penance,
to sin no more,
and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Our Savior, Jesus Christ,
suffered and died for us.
In His name, my God, have mercy.

Lovely Lady dressed in blue, teach me how to pray.
God was just your little boy,

Did you lift him up sometimes, gently on your knee?

Prayer for the people in my life

Almighty Father, please grant the people in my life
your care and protection.  I ask you:
for those you are sick, healing and health;
for those who are sad, hope and happiness;
for those who are worried, strength and peace;
for those who are unkind, your light and mercy;
for those who are angry, grace and love.
Remember these special people, (name each one), in your
blessings, as I remember them in my intercessions.
