Dear St. Patrick Family,
It has come to my attention that the school dress code is not being followed in several critical areas. The uniform policy is clearly stated in this year’s handbook. We provided everyone a grace period in order to comply with the dress code. That date has now passed.
The most pressing violation is the length of the girl’s skorts and shorts. They are to be no more than 2 inches above the knee. If your student is found to be in violation, they will be sent to the office and asked to call home for the correct uniform and assigned a detention. After three detentions, a student will not be allowed to attend class until a meeting with a school official is held with the student’s parent.
It is imperative that our students wear their uniforms in an appropriate manner, consistent with a Catholic school. Several families took the time over the break to make changes to their uniforms, obligating us to be firm with the policy.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
In God’s Trust,
J. Mark Akerman, Principal
