Incoming 4th Graders
Summer Reading List
2012-2013 School Year
Welcome to 4th Grade!! As part of your preparation for the next school year, you are asked to select and read two books from the list below plus one chapter book of your choice. You are also required to read and meditate on the scripture readings below. Within the first few weeks of school, you will be asked to complete 2 reading assignments and one religion assignment based on your reading.
Also, please review your multiplication facts through the twelves table. All fourth graders must know their facts automatically in order to successfully move through the math curriculum. Please continue to practice your cursive writing over the summer, too. We are going to have a great year and keeping your skills sharp over the summer will help to ensure your academic success.
Remember, you will be able to take AR tests on your summer reading books so read carefully for comprehension. Happy Reading!
